African Design Archive is free, independent, and non-profit — no paywalls, no ads, and no institutional funding behind it. Just the conviction that African graphic design deserves to be documented, preserved, and made accessible to everyone.

Running the archive has real costs. Hosting, domain, research time, and the ongoing work of curating and building the collection all require resources. Right now, those costs are covered personally. That isn't sustainable long term.

African Design Archive is just getting started. We are building something we believe the continent has long needed — and your support at this early stage makes a real difference. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us grow the collection, sustain the infrastructure, and keep the archive free for everyone.
